NEXT INDOOR SCORTON CAR BOOT DAY SUNDAY FEBRUARY 5TH. 8am - 12:30 (sellers should arrive by 6:00am during the winter months and doors open at 7am) Winter Months the demand always exceed space (last Sunday the building was full by 6:45am). So to to be sure of an internal space at this car boot arrive early.
NEXT SCORTON BIKE & AUTOJUMBLE MARKET CARBOOT DAY SATURDAY FEBRUARY 18TH 2012. 8am - Midday. Great chance to get those cheap and unusual things you are looking for.
Scorton Car boot is near Catterick, North Yorkshire, just off the A1(M).
The towns of Catterick, Richmond, Darlington, Teesside, Stockton, Middlesbrough and Newcastle are within an hours drive. The stalls are all under cover in a huge hanger which makes it ideal for a rainy or windy day to visit. The pitches at Scorton Car Boot overspill into out-buildings and hard standing areas around the building. It is open on Wednesdays from 4pm to 6pm, Sundays from 8am to Midday and every 3rd Saturday in the month from 8am to Midday for Car and Bike Jumble and a lot of other stuff. Explore Britain Books have a stand pitch where we sell thousands of used and hardly used fiction and non-fiction books as well as maps and travel guides. You will be amazed at the stock available to rummage through or view those on display. But most of all you can enjoy the thrill of low prices. At 50p a book or THREE for POUND you can't go far wrong. Hardbacks and Paperbacks are all the same price - as cheap as we can make them! We also sell used maps and guidebooks for that holiday destination or for the collector of rare editions (we don't look for first editions or rare copies of books). 50 pence or 3 books 4 a £1 - it is worth a visit out to see us!

If you are looking for a large number of the same sheet number (Scotland), let me know. We will give you a bargain price that will make it worth your while asking.
There is a regular car boot sale held every Sunday at Scorton Car Boot between 7pm and Midday, and every Wednesday between 4:30pm and 6:30pm. If you arrive early enough you will get a pitch under cover – which is great for British weather. Refreshments available. Toilets on site. Contact Tel: 07909 904705.  This is a wheelchair and mobility and walking impaired friendly carboot - no muddy fields or slopes and all undercover and in the dry. Usually plenty of room between stalls. All the cars and stalls are on a hard concrete level surface - undercover. Vehicles can be parked within 10 yards of an entrance. Heavy or awkward items can be carried to vehicles by friendly helpful stall-holders.
If you are a car boot seller, this is a turn up and sell car-boot. Get to Scorton by 6am on a Sunday and 4pm on a Wednesday.
The North Yorkshire Autojumble Car Boot is held at North Yorkshire Events Centre, Scorton, near Catterick, North Yorkshire. You will find car parts, bike bits, auto jumble and our book stall every third Saturday in the month under cover from 7am to 1pm. Bike and auto-jumble (very popular event with limited free space).
Why not visit Catterick Racecouse Sunday market and then the Car Boot Sale events centre which is about 1 mile east of the pretty little village of Scorton (don't forget we are only open until midday) - follow signs at junctions. Use this map link if the Google Map doesn't show below. There are two great pubs in the village which do Sunday lunches and the fantastic Black Bull Inn at Moulton nearby. Perfect to visit after the car boot has ended. There is also the nearby Sunday Catterick Market on the racecourse. So you can cobine the two and make an exciting morning of it.
