The low cost coach and rail provider megabus.com is airing its first ever UK TV advert this July! With coach and rail prices starting from just £1 + 50p booking fee, over 80 destination choices within the UK, and an upcoming new website, megabus has a lot to shout about this summer. Our TV campaign will be running in various regions which are further detailed below. Alongside this we will be getting on board the roads of Britain for our mega road show, promoting our mega destination network and giving one to one advice to our customers. Our roadshow takes place in the following destinations. Please feel free to come and see us if you would like to! Monday 19th July: Exeter (Morrissons), Tuesday 20th July 2010: Bristol (Cabot Circus), Wednesday 21st July 2010: Cardiff (St.David's Dewi Sant), Thursday 22nd July 2010: Manchester (The Arndale Centre), Friday 23rd July 2010: Leeds (White Rose Shopping Centre) , Monday 26th July 2010: Newcastle (Eldon Square Shopping Centre) and Tuesday 27th July 2010: Edinburgh (St. James Shopping Centre).
What are our Prices Our seats start from as little as £1. We offer the best prices to those who make reservations early. However, all journeys will remain competitively priced offering excellent value for money. A one-off booking fee of 50p is charged for all reservations. Launched in 2004 megabus.com has since grown rapidly and now departs and arrives to over 50 destinations within the UK. The megabus network stretches from the Highlands of Scotland to south-west England, connecting some of the UK’s most popular destinations, including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Cardiff. Since its launch megabus has invested over £18 million in their fleets, ensuring the majority of journeys have coaches fully equipped with toilets and air conditioning. Since its launch Megabus has extended into rail and now offers passengers the opportunity to acquire low priced rail tickets by booking through megatrain. megatrain travels to a number of destinations throughout the UK: From London as far north as Glasgow, London to destinations such as Sheffield, Nottingham and Peterborough and London to the South West, such as Portsmouth, Exeter and Bath.

What do I give the MegaBus driver? You will require your booking reference to travel, ensure you obtain this reference for each journey you book. If you are an Entitlement cardholder in SCOTLAND and have booked concession seats you will also require to present your Entitlement card to the driver when boarding. Take your booking reference, and where appropriate your Entitlement card (Scotland only) with you and present it to the driver, this entitles you to a seat for the journey specified at time of booking. You can also receive your Megabus ticket by SMS which allows you to receive your journey reservation as a text message direct to your mobile phone.
