Public transportation to and from Heathrow airport is reliable and frequent with a choice of trains, coaches, Heathrow express, taxis and car hire.

Gatwick Airport is at Junction 9 of the M23 motorway and on the A23 London to Brighton road. The Gatwick Airport railway station is located next to the South Terminal, and provides fast and frequent connections along the Brighton Main Line to London Victoria and London Bridge station as well as Brighton to the south. The Gatwick Express service to Victoria is the best-known rail service from Gatwick Airport railway station, but several other companies, including Southern, First Capital Connect, Virgin Trains and First Great Western Link, use the station as well. First Capital Connect provide direct trains to Luton Airport, and foot passengers with modest luggage can reach Heathrow Airport by catching an X26 Express Bus from East Croydon. National Express operates coach service from Gatwick to both Heathrow and Stansted Airport, as well as smaller cities throughout the region. Route 21 of the National Cycle Network passes under the South Terminal, allowing virtually traffic-free cycling northwards to Horley and southwards to Three Bridges and Crawley. A lift runs between the terminal and ground level (signed "Lift to Cycle Route").

Passenger access to the City of London is via a branch of the Docklands Light Railway from Canning Town.
England London Stansted. Serving the East of England. You will find many hotels will offer car parking and transfer from the airport hotel to the airport terminal. Stansted has a railway station below the terminal building, with frequent rail services to London and less frequent services to Cambridge and the Midlands. The Stansted Express train runs to and from Liverpool Street station in London every 15 minutes and the journey time is 45 minutes. Scheduled express bus or coach services run to and from Stratford, Victoria Coach Station, Liverpool Street Station and Golders Green (all in London), costing half as much as the train but taking rather longer. The bus/coach station is adjacent to the terminal building. National Express runs scheduled but infrequent direct coach services to the airport from Oxford as service JL757, taking about three hours, and hourly services to and from Cambridge. Stansted is connected to northeast London and Cambridge by the M11 motorway and to Colchester and Harwich by the A120 dual-carriageway. The access from the motorway has recently been improved with a new grade-separated junction. The long term car park is situated about a mile from the terminal and passengers need to allow at least twenty minutes to park and use a courtesy bus shuttle service prior to check-in. There are short term car parks next to the terminal building.
England London Luton. Serving the South-East of England. You will find many hotels will offer car parking and transfer from the airport hotel to the airport terminal.A new railway station, Luton Airport Parkway, has been built to serve the airport and provides services to London's St Pancras and to the north on the Midland Main Line, and also on First Capital Connect routes north to Bedford and south to St Albans, London, Wimbledon, Sutton, Gatwick Airport and Brighton. A free shuttle bus connects to the airport. The station is just over a mile from the airport terminal buildings, and passengers who incorrectly believe the station is within the airport should instead allow extra time. There are plans to replace the Luton Airport Express Shuttle Bus from Luton Airport Parkway Station with a segregated tracked transit system in the near future to further improve public transport links to the airport.
England Manchester. Serving the North-West of England and with excellent rail connections through Manchester to the rest of Northern England. You will find many hotels will offer car parking and transfer from the airport hotel to the airport terminal. Manchester Airport is roughly 20 minutes drive from central Manchester. On the M56 motorway, Manchester Airport has a dedicated link road from the motorway at junction 5. Directions to terminals are well signed from all approach roads with colour-coded cubes indicating the best route to each terminal and its car parks. Manchester airport is ideally situated halfway between London and Edinburgh, 80 miles from Birmingham and 60 miles from Leeds. For those who are using Public Transport the dedicated transport interchange - The Station - is open 24 hours and links trains, coaches and buses into one building. This state of the art facility is connected to all terminals by Skylink moving walkways, lifts and escalators. The Station provides a variety of services for passengers including comfortable waiting areas, terminal and flight information, currency exchange and retail and catering outlets.
England Leeds and Bradford. Serving the north of England. You will find many hotels will offer car parking and transfer from the airport hotel to the airport terminal. Leeds Bradford International Airport has connections to the road, rail, and bus networks. The airport is signposted on a large number of routes in the region. The MetroConnect 737 bus service connects the airport to Bradford, Shipley, Guiseley and Yeadon, and the MetroConnect 757 airlink bus service, to Leeds and Otley. Both services run every half hour during the week. The 757 route allows access to the National Rail Network via Leeds City Rail Station (Leeds Interchange and Leeds City Bus Station). Bus2Jet 767 from Harrogate and Knaresborough runs every 90 minutes and is operated by Harrogate and District with support from Yorkshire Forward and North Yorkshire County Council. Licensed taxis are available from the taxi rank outside the terminal building at the airport.
England Durham Tees Valley or Teesside. Serving the north of England. You will find many hotels will offer car parking and transfer from the airport hotel to the airport terminal. A new bus service, the Sky Express, was launched in May 2005, connecting the airport with Darlington's train station and town centre, operated by Arriva North-East. Travel is free for passengers with a valid air ticket on the day, or £2 without. The service runs hourly throughout the day. Whilst the airport has its own railway station this is only served by one train a week (yes ONE train a week!)
England Newcastle. Serving the north of England and the borders of Scotland. You will find many hotels will offer car parking and transfer from the airport hotel to the airport terminal. The Airport is connected the Tyne and Wear Metro service linking it directly with both Newcastle (22 mins) and Sunderland (45 mins) city centres. The Airport is connected to the A1 trunk road by the A696 dual carriageway. A regular bus service (101) also runs from the airport to Newcastle and South East Northumberland. A half-hourly service (76/77) runs between the airport and Newcastle City Centre, with a limited service (102) linking the Airport with the Metrocentre shopping centre.

If you travel to Norwich by train or coach, Norwich International airport is only as short ride across the city. There are taxi ranks and bus stops directly outside both the rail and coach stations. First Buses run a regular service to Norwich International approximately every hour. The X5 buses run between Norwich and Sheringham. One Anglia trains run services to Norwich from London Liverpool St. and link to services across the country.
England Bristol. Serving the South-West of England and with excellent rail connections through Bristol to Wales and central England. You will find many hotels will offer car parking and transfer from the airport hotel to the airport terminal. Bristol International Airport is located 8 miles south of Bristol City Centre. The nearest train station to Bristol International Airport is Bristol Temple Meads, approximately seven miles away. The Bristol International Flyer express coach service connects you from Bristol Temple Meads to the airport every 20 minutes during the day. The Bristol International Flyer is the only express coach link between Bristol railway station (Temple Meads) and Bristol bus station and Bristol International Airport. There is a comfortable Flyer lounge at Temple Meads train station. The journey time is approximately 30 minutes. There is no need to pre book, simply pay on board.

The airport is located 7 miles south east of the centre of Liverpool, United Kingdom, adjacent to the Mersey Estuary. By road, the airport is made accessible by the M53, M56,M57 and M62 motorways. The Knowsley Expressway links Knowsley, Prescot and Huyton to Speke Boulevard for fast access. The airport does not have its own railway station. The nearest station is at Liverpool South Parkway, from which there are regular bus shuttle services to the airport and direct rail links from Liverpool, Manchester and Birmingham. There are regular bus services linking the airport with both Liverpool and Manchester city centres.
Scotland Glasgow. Serving central Scotland and with excellent rail connections through Glasgow to the borders, Edinburgh and the Highlands. Currently, the airport is easily accessed by road due to the adjoining M8 motorway and is served by a frequent dedicated express bus from the city centre.

The airport lies on the main A96 Aberdeen to Inverness road, and is well served by local and express bus services operated by First Aberdeen and Stagecoach Bluebird.
Scotland Inverness. Serving the North and North-East of Scotland and with excellent rail connections through Inverness to south Scotland. The airport is located 9 miles east of the City of Inverness just off the main A96 trunk road. Taxis are available at the airport and buses operate to and from the airport terminal to Inverness city centre and towns to the east.
Wales Cardiff. Serving south Wales and with excellent rail connections through Cardiff to Bristol and the rest of England. You will find many hotels will offer car parking and transfer from the airport hotel to the airport terminal. Cardiff International Airport is approximately twelve miles west of the city of Cardiff. Rhoose Cardiff International Airport railway station (the Welsh like their long named rail stations with Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch in the north) opened in June 2005 on the Vale of Glamorgan Line - linking Cardiff Central with Bridgend. A bus service also links Cardiff to the airport. By road, the airport is located 10 miles from junction 33 of the M4 motorway, in the village of Rhoose in the Vale of Glamorgan.
