EuroStar SnowTrain from London to the French Alps

The ever-popular Eurostar Direct Ski Train. There are two Eurostar Direct Ski trains that run weekly during the winter skiing of 2009 / 2010 from London St Pancras or Ashford International station direct to 3 stations in the French Alps: Moûtiers, Aime La Plagne and Bourg-St-Maurice. The overnight train service from January to April leaves the UK on a Friday night and arrives in the heart of the mountains early on a Saturday morning in time to hit the snow slopes. The High-speed Rail day service from December to April arrives in just 7 and a half hours, travelling throughout the day on a Saturday. Seats on Eurostar Direct Ski trains can be booked from Tuesday 7th July 2009. Prices start from £149 return per person. Please note: Early booking is recommended during school holidays in December as the cheapest peak ski dates book up quickly.

EUROSTAR plus a connecting TGV or OVERNIGHT TRAIN. Alternatively take the Eurostar train from London St Pancras (next to Kings Cross and Euston) to Paris or Lille, then a connecting French day or overnight service to the heart of the French mountains. Many high-speed day trains and overnight trains from Paris operate daily during the winter months. Overnight rail services offer reclining seats or flat-bed couchette accommodation for a more comfortable journey. High-speed day services offer many connections with regional trains to provide a comprehensive and flexible rail service to the Alps in France, Switzerland, Austria and Italy.

Benefits of booking through Rail Europe online - NO booking fee (a saving of £6) with ON-LINE ticket printing and exclusive online offers for cheap fares. To start your mountain adventures, climb aboard Eurostar at London St Pancras or Ashford International bound for Gare du Nord in Paris to meet the European Snow Trains. Once aboard the Snow Train, simply relax, have a few drinks and settle in for the overnight sleeper journey to the French Alps.
